Why GGE Exists
This page shares the philosophy behind Glitzy Glitter Express and why the Confidence Hub was built the way it was with clarity, intention, and long-term sustainability in mind.

Glitzy Glitter Express didn’t start with a big plan or perfect timing.
It started in my parents’ basement while I was nannying, preparing to get married, and getting ready to move across the country. Everything in my life felt transitional, and GGE became something steady I could build during that season.
When I first told my dad I was going to sell glitter, he told me I was crazy.
Not because he didn’t believe in me but because he didn’t think glitter could be sustainable or profitable. And to be fair, there were moments early on when that concern didn’t feel unreasonable. Nothing about building GGE was linear, easy, or guaranteed. I’ve had to pivot more times than I can count.
But I never gave up.
When my husband and I moved, one thing was non-negotiable: we needed a house with a shed in the backyard so I could keep GGE going. That shed became my workspace, my inventory room, and the place where I learned what it actually takes to grow a business.
I quickly outgrew it.
Inventory moved from the shed into the house.
Then more space was needed.
Then another move followed — not because things were failing, but because they were growing faster than the space could hold.
Eventually, that growth required a bigger step: moving GGE into a commercial space, where we operate today.
As the business grew, I didn’t just learn how to scale operations. I learned how to hire, train, lead, and, when necessary, make hard decisions. I learned what strong teams need, what systems protect people from burnout, and how leadership shapes the health of a business.
Over time, I rebuilt processes, clarified expectations, and grew into the role of founder and leader, not just operator.
Today, my parents are some of my biggest supporters. Not just in words, but in the work itself. You’ll see their names on packing slips. You’ll see my dad helping during TikTok Lives. You’ll see my mom behind the scenes counting inventory, packaging orders, and them both labeling their hearts out.
They’ve seen the highest highs and the lowest lows of GGE. They’ve watched the uncertainty, the pivots, the long days and the wins that followed. And still, they tell me how proud they are of what I’ve built.
Almost every day, they ask the same questions: How did GGE do today? How many orders did you pack?
Not because they need the numbers but because they care about the journey.
That shift, from doubt to belief mirrors what so many makers experience as confidence grows through understanding.
GGE grew because I stayed consistent and didn’t give up when growth required me to step into new responsibilities.
As the business expanded, patterns became clear. Makers weren’t just looking for supplies they were looking for clarity. They were second-guessing pricing, overthinking decisions, and losing confidence over things that didn’t actually need to feel so heavy.
That’s why this hub exists.
Not because I needed every tool myself, but because I had seen, repeatedly, how systems and clear guidance change the way people build.
If you’re building something from wherever you are — a spare room, a garage, a shed, or a season of transition...you belong here.
Starting small doesn’t limit where you can go.
Consistency builds more than confidence ever could.
